Job Description:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Partner with department leaders to develop annual budgets aligned with organizational priorities and financial goals.
- Build and maintain financial forecasting models to project future performance and support strategic planning.
- Conduct detailed variance analyses to compare actual results with budgeted expectations, identifying risks, opportunities, and root‑cause drivers.
- Generate clear, insightful financial reports for senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial operations, reporting efficiency, and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives and decision‑making.
Qualifications:
- CPA in progress (ideally at CFE stage or less than 1 year away from designation)
- 2-3 years’ Financial Planning & Analysis experience in a retail, hospitality or related field is preferred.
- Power BI and SQL/VBA knowledge required.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data insights.
- Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and objectives with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and work flexible hours, as required
