Financial Analyst

Job Description:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Partner with department leaders to develop annual budgets aligned with organizational priorities and financial goals.
• Build and maintain financial forecasting models to project future performance and support strategic planning.
• Conduct detailed variance analyses to compare actual results with budgeted expectations, identifying risks, opportunities, and root‑cause drivers.
• Generate clear, insightful financial reports for senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial operations, reporting efficiency, and overall organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives and decision‑making.

Qualifications:

• CPA in progress (ideally at CFE stage or less than 1 year away from designation)
• 2-3 years’ Financial Planning & Analysis experience in a retail, hospitality or related field is preferred.
• Power BI and SQL/VBA knowledge required.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data insights.
• Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and objectives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and work flexible hours, as required
