SETUP: Hybrid, 3 days/week in office, 2 days remote. Located in Etobicoke

CONTRACT: 6 months, with chance to extend

START DATE: ASAP

Financial Analyst, FP&A – 6 Month Contract

Responsibilities

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Analyze financial results, identify key variances, and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Prepare financial models, management reports, and performance analysis.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting financial schedules.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A.
  • ·Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
