SETUP: 4 days/week in office, 1 day remote, located downtown Toronto.
CONTRACT: 6 months
START DATE: ASAP
About the Opportunity
Senior Analyst Investment Operations – 6 Month Contract
Responsibilities
- Support investment closings, including documentation review, system setup, transaction processing and settlement.
- Manage daily trading activity, cash events and the lifecycle of investment transactions.
- Maintain accurate investment records, positions, reconciliations and asset servicing activities.
- Support complex fixed income investments and monthly/quarterly valuation reviews.
- Investigate and escalate discrepancies or operational issues as required.
- Partner with internal teams, asset managers and service providers to resolve issues and meet reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant investment operations experience
- Experience working with fixed income
- Strong understanding of settlements, reconciliations, valuations and asset servicing.
- Strong analytical and financial skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- CFA, CPA or CSC (enrolled or completed) is considered an asset.
