PLC / HMI Programmer

We’re Hiring: PLC/HMI Programmer | 5+ Years Experience 

Valley Integration Inc. is looking for an experienced PLC/HMI Programmer to join our team and take ownership of complex industrial automation projects from development and integration through testing and commissioning. 

This role is ideal for an automation professional who combines strong PLC programming expertise with HMI/SCADA development, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and the ability to work closely with engineering and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• PLC Programming & Automation: Develop, modify, integrate, and troubleshoot PLC programs using platforms such as Ladder Logic, FBD, and SFC, while integrating PLCs with HMI and SCADA systems. 

• HMI & Process Control: Develop intuitive operator interfaces and process control Responsibilities solutions aligned with P&IDs, electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and Process Control Narratives (PCNs). 

• Testing & Commissioning: Lead system debugging, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and on-site commissioning to ensure reliable and compliant system performance. 

• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain essential project documentation, including I/O Lists, test cases, FAT checklists, flowcharts, and related technical records. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver complex automation projects on schedule, including upgrades, modifications, and solutions based on client specifications. 

What We're Looking For 

• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline. 

• 5+ years of experience in complex industrial automation environments. 

• Expert-level knowledge of industrial automation systems.

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens, Rockwell, and SCADA platforms such as Ignition, FactoryTalk, or Wonderware. 

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• For candidates residing in Canada, a valid Canadian Work Permit and a Valid Driver's License is required.
