Original job description

Location: Montreal, On-site

Summary:

Valnet is hiring a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to directly manage and scale paid acquisition for one or more assigned products within our digital portfolio. This is a hands on role with day to day ownership of campaign execution, optimization, and scaling, with direct accountability for growth, efficiency, and unit economics.

The role is best suited for a performance marketer who operates close to the numbers, understands platform mechanics at a granular level, and is comfortable owning outcomes across spend, revenue, and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Own paid acquisition strategy and execution across paid search.
  • Directly manage and optimize campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with exposure to Meta or other platforms as needed.
  • Own relationships and performance management for lead generation partners and marketplaces Valnet works with.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance targets tied to product level unit economics.
  • Monitor performance at campaign and product level, identifying inefficiencies and scaling opportunities.
  • Design and execute structured experiments across funnels, landing pages, ad copy, and bidding strategies.
  • Collaborate with content and SEO teams to plan and prioritize content aligned with product strategy and performance insights.
  • Work closely with developers to scope and ship acquisition related features such as forms, landing pages, and tracking implementations.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in performance or growth marketing with direct ownership of paid media.
  • Strong experience managing paid search at scale, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Proven track record managing meaningful budgets with accountability for ROI and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical capability with fluency in GA4, Looker Studio or similar BI tools, and spreadsheets.
  • Solid understanding of conversion tracking, attribution models, and data quality tradeoffs.
  • Experience running CRO initiatives and interpreting landing page and funnel performance.
  • Comfortable working in fast moving, performance driven environments with minimal process overhead.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and content strategy is an asset.
  • Experience in insurance, finance, or regulated lead generation verticals is a strong asset.
