VALWELL TECHNOLOGIES

Innovative Solutions for the Oil & Gas Industry

Field Service Coordinator

Full-Time | Edmonton, AB or Bonnyville, AB | In Person

Why ValWell?

ValWell is a small company on the verge of big growth. A recent acquisition is fuelling our expansion, and the people who join us now will help shape what comes next. For a coordinator, that means you're not a dispatcher buried in someone else's process - you own the field service schedule, and the way our crews get to the job starts with you.

  • A flexible, independent work environment where you manage the field service schedule and the systems behind it.
  • Access to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology to run a modern service operation.
  • Grow your income as you drive growth - new roles and leadership opportunities are being created as we scale.
  • Direct access to the field crews, the shop, and the customers whose jobs you're coordinating.
  • The stability of an established business with the energy of a company entering its next chapter.

The Role

We're looking for an organized, people-first Field Service Coordinator to plan, schedule, and support our Field Service team across our Edmonton and Bonnyville operations. You'll be the hub between customers, field crews, HSE, and Training - making sure the right people, with the right tickets and equipment, are on the right job at the right time.

This role sits at the centre of day-to-day field operations. You'll build and maintain the crew schedule, be the go-to for coverage and call-handling questions, keep our records audit-ready, and help new hires get onboarded and job-ready. If you want a role where you run the schedule rather than just react to it, this is it.

What You'll Do

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Coordinate and prioritize scheduling for the Field Service team so customer needs are met safely, on time, and efficiently.
  • Balance crew availability, certifications, equipment, and travel to assign the right people to each job.
  • Adjust the schedule in real time as rush jobs, call-outs, and customer changes come in, and communicate the impact clearly.
  • Track crew hours and extended shifts to support fatigue management and keep field operations

compliant.

Communication & Customer Support

  • Serve as a key point of contact for personnel coverage, call handling, response times, and service

protocols.

  • Build strong working relationships with customers, crew leads, and internal departments.
  • Communicate job details, changes, and expectations to field crews and customers so nothing falls

through the cracks.

Onboarding & Training Support

  • Coordinate with the HSE and Training departments to onboard new field employees and schedule

required training.

  • Help track certifications and renewal dates so crews stay qualified and job-ready.

Records & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records, schedules, and supporting documentation for field service operations.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other business documentation to support operational and

management decisions.

  • Assist with administrative projects and other duties as assigned to support the success of the Field

Service team.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate information

clearly and provide guidance when needed.

  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage

multiple tasks at once.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, and sound judgment when priorities compete.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices and a commitment to following all company and safety

policies, promoting safe work behaviours, and proactively addressing unsafe conditions.

  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other business software for

communication, reporting, and data management.

  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills and basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to execute strategies and support departmental initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including more than 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, as

business needs require.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Nice to Have:

  • One to two years of coordination or coordinator-support experience.
  • Experience running or supporting field operations, service organizations, or customer-facing teams.
  • Experience preparing reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other business documentation.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas field services, valve or pressure equipment, or industrial safety programs.
  • Experience with scheduling, dispatch, or workforce-management software.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or equivalent).

What We Offer

  • Competitive full-time compensation based on experience, with the opportunity to grow your income

as you drive growth.

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and more.
  • A flexible, independent work environment.
  • Best-in-class resources, tools, and technology.
  • On-the-job training and real opportunities for advancement.
  • The chance to build the field service coordination function at a company that's scaling.

How to Apply

Ready to build your career with a company that's going places? Submit your resume and a brief cover

letter outlining your experience and which location - Edmonton or Bonnyville - you're applying for. You can apply online through Indeed.

ValWell Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. We thank all applicants for their interest; however,

only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
