Company Description Vancouver Restaurant Supply (VRS) provides a comprehensive range of commercial kitchen equipment designed to meet the demanding needs of chefs and restaurateurs. Customers are supported by experts who provide tailored advice to ensure each establishment selects the right equipment for its operations.

Role Description The Sales Account Manager is a full-time, on-site, on-road, role based in Vancouver, BC, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of foodservice and hospitality clients. This position involves building long-term relationships with restaurant owners, chefs, and procurement teams, understanding their operational needs, and recommending appropriate equipment solutions. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and lead generation, conducting in-person and phone consultations, preparing quotes, and following up to close sales. The Sales Account Manager will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, installation support, and ongoing customer satisfaction. The role also includes maintaining accurate account records in CRM tools, monitoring market trends, and participating in showroom visits, industry events, and product trainings.

Qualifications

Customer-facing skills: ability to deliver excellent Customer Service and maintain high Customer Satisfaction.
Relationship and account management skills: experience in Account Management, including nurturing existing clients and identifying upsell opportunities.
Sales development skills: proficiency in Lead Generation and pipeline management to drive new business.
Communication skills: strong Communication abilities for clear presentations, negotiations, and written proposals.
Prior experience in B2B sales, ideally within commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice, or related industries.
Comfort working in an on-site environment with regular client visits and showroom interactions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in order processing and documentation.
Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, Quickbooks online, Shopify, presentation tools).
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client meetings as needed.
