Tasks
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
- Level earth to fine grade specifications
- Assist in demolishing buildings
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Perform routine maintenance work
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Discuss work with supervisor

Responsibilities
Load, unload, and transport construction materials; erect and dismantle forms, scaffolding, and other temporary structures; and assist with framing, roofing, grading, and demolition. Maintain safe, clean construction sites by removing debris, cleaning spills, tending equipment, directing traffic, and communicating with the supervisor.
Requirements
The role requires 3 to less than 5 years of experience; no degree, certificate, or diploma is required. Candidates need experience with drills and hand tools, their own transportation, a valid driver's licence, and the ability to perform physically demanding work, including handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
