About Vantage

Vantage powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world’s well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises. Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.

Solutions Engineering Department

The team partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to design, validate, and present technically sound solutions that support revenue growth and long-term customer success.

Sales Engineers act as trusted technical advisors throughout the entire sales cycle - from early discovery and solution design to proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, and contract support. By translating complex technical requirements into clear, customer-focused solutions, the department ensures alignment between customer expectations, technical feasibility, and operational delivery.

Partner with Design Engineering, Construction, Operations, Commercial, Legal, and other departments to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Technology Evaluation and Selection:

Evaluate and recommend technologies, products, and services that align with client needs and industry standard methodologies.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the data center industry to inform solution design.

Proof of Concept and Testing:

Develop and lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to validate proposed solutions.
Oversee testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet performance, security, and reliability standards.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of solution designs, configurations, and deployment procedures.
Provide knowledge transfer and training to clients and internal teams on the implemented solutions.

Identify opportunities for improving solution design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for solution architecture within the organization.

Additional Duties:

Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
