Position Summary:

The Material Handler performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in storage and distribution of materials.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Consolidate items in stock
Put parts away
Bin audits and cycle counts
Follow procedures for any material movement
Communicate daily tasks with Inventory Control Analyst
Picking part requisitions and Manufacturing Orders (MOs)
Follow the warehouse safety guidelines
Comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) & MSL handling
Package up outbound materials for sales orders
Ensure aisles, shelves and bins are kept clean and organized
Continuous improvement on materials handling process
Verify and put away finished goods
Bi-weekly checks of WMI material
Report any issues to Inventory Control Analyst and Warehouse Manager
Help other departments when required (Receiving and Shipping)

Position requirements:

Grade 12 diploma or GED
Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience
Strong computer knowledge
Ability to lift 40lbs and handle heavier items
WMS optional
Forklift optional
