Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java programming, experience with Spring Boot, and an interest in building scalable and reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
- Work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Troubleshoot application issues and resolve bugs.
- Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and development activities.
- Learn and apply new technologies as required.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
- Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Microservices architecture.
- Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Familiarity with React, Angular, or another frontend technology.
- Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
