Responsibilities

Assist the Commodity Manager in executing commodity and supplier management strategies.
Support the request for Quotation (RFQ) process including issuance and analysis of responses.
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply base and recommend new sourcing initiatives.
Support strategic sourcing activities by gathering market intelligence, benchmarking suppliers, and conducting spend analysis.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance procurement and supplier management strategies.
Support new supplier onboarding, supplier evaluations, and supplier capability assessments.
Prepare reports, presentations, and business cases to support procurement and supply chain initiatives.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on supplier performance objectives.

Qualifications

Technique training or post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
2-3 years of experience working in a Supply chain environment
Understanding of procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large datasets.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and business intelligence or reporting tools is considered an asset.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

Responsabilités

Assister le gestionnaire de catégorie dans la mise en œuvre des stratégies de gestion des catégories et des fournisseurs.
Soutenir le processus de demande de soumission (RFQ), notamment l’émission des demandes et l’analyse des réponses reçues.
Identifier les tendances, les risques et les occasions au sein de la base de fournisseurs et recommander de nouvelles initiatives d’approvisionnement.
Soutenir les activités d’approvisionnement stratégique en recueillant des informations sur le marché, en effectuant des comparaisons (benchmarking) des fournisseurs et en réalisant des analyses des dépenses.
Proposer des idées et des recommandations visant à améliorer les stratégies d’approvisionnement et de gestion des fournisseurs.
Soutenir l’intégration de nouveaux fournisseurs, les évaluations des fournisseurs et l’évaluation de leurs capacités.
Préparer des rapports, des présentations et des analyses de rentabilité afin de soutenir les initiatives liées aux achats et à la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
Collaborer avec les équipes de Qualité, d’Ingénierie, des Opérations et des Finances afin d’assurer l’alignement des objectifs de performance des fournisseurs.

Qualifications

Formation technique ou études postsecondaires en gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, administration des affaires, ingénierie, opérations ou dans un domaine connexe.
2 à 3 ans d’expérience dans un environnement lié à la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
Bonne compréhension des principes d’approvisionnement, d’approvisionnement stratégique et de gestion des relations avec les fournisseurs.
Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Excel et expérience avec de grands ensembles de données.
Expérience avec des systèmes ERP (SAP de préférence) et des outils de veille stratégique ou de production de rapports, considérée comme un atout.
Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément.
Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacité de collaborer avec des équipes multidisciplinaires.
