Job Description

Brief Job Description:

This position will contribute to service sales for the Vertiv office that covers Montreal and the Province of Quebec. The Service Sales Rep manages all service contract, planned maintenance, and equipment upgrade sales activities in the region. The Representative works independently, is creative, and a critical thinker. The Representative is required to solve customer problems with innovative solutions for their requirements by offering the most competitive, thorough services and pricing plan to meet the customer’s needs while exceeding sales quotas and business objectives. The role requires travel within the territory to build relationships and visit sites to propose OEM services.

Responsibilities

Develop and expand relationships with installed base power and thermal customers for the promotion of Vertiv services.
Drive consistent and high volume of renewable service contracts; capture new contracts from newly sold equipment; offer upgrade and enhancement services for Vertiv power and thermal products.
Interface with Vertiv Thermal, Power, and Channel sales representatives to broaden Vertiv’s overall relationship with assigned accounts.
Generate year over year sales growth.
Contribute to sales excellence with healthy pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales plans.
Actively maintain forecast data weekly to guide the business on service requirements and expectations.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts.
Ensure a high caliber customer response and satisfaction. Communicate accurately and effectively with all customers and Vertiv sales associates, culminating in an integrated team sales effort.
Specific duties will include, but not be limited to: preparing / configuring service solutions, preparing quotations, follow up, negotiations, closing deals, order execution, general sales support, prospecting for new accounts, regular in-field customer visits.
Competency in all aspects of internal Vertiv sales and order entry functions and policies.
Establish competency across all Vertiv products and services.

Education And Experience

DEC diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology is preferred
2-4 years of technology and/or service sales experience

QUALIFICATION

Strong verbal and written communication skills – bilingual French / English required.
Team player is essential.
Experience in service or product sales.
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and the ability to manage multiple priorities is required along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with facility managers, contractors, engineers, or end-users of equipment would be an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Occasional travel to the US for training.
Occasional travel within Quebec, maximum 25%

Le poste nécessite des déplacements sur le territoire afin de nouer des relations et de visiter des sites pour proposer des services OEM.

RESPONSABILITÉS

Développer et renforcer les relations avec la clientèle existante dans les secteurs de l’alimentation électrique et de la gestion thermique afin de promouvoir les services de Vertiv.
Générer un volume constant et élevé de contrats de service renouvelables; conclure de nouveaux contrats liés aux équipements récemment vendus; proposer des services de mise à niveau et d’amélioration pour les produits d’alimentation électrique et de gestion thermique de Vertiv.
Assurer la liaison avec les représentants des ventes des divisions Vertiv Thermal, Power et Channel afin d’élargir la relation globale de Vertiv avec les comptes assignés.
Générer une croissance des ventes d’une année sur l’autre.
Contribuer à l’excellence commerciale grâce à un solide pipeline d’occasions d’affaires permettant d’atteindre les objectifs de vente.
Mettre à jour activement les données prévisionnelles chaque semaine afin d’orienter l’entreprise sur les besoins et les attentes en matière de services.
Établir des relations de confiance avec les clients clés en tant que conseiller de confiance.
Assurer un service à la clientèle et une satisfaction de haut niveau. Communiquer avec précision et efficacité avec tous les clients et les représentants des ventes de Vertiv, afin de mener à bien un effort de vente d’équipe intégré.
Les tâches spécifiques comprendront, sans s’y limiter : la préparation et la configuration de solutions de service, l’élaboration de soumissions, le suivi, les négociations, la conclusion de transactions, l’exécution des commandes, le soutien général aux ventes, la prospection de nouveaux clients et les visites régulières chez les clients sur le terrain.
Maîtrise de tous les aspects des fonctions et politiques internes de Vertiv en matière de ventes et de saisie des commandes.
Maîtriser l’ensemble des produits et services de Vertiv.

ÉTUDES ET EXPÉRIENCE

Un diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou un baccalauréat en commerce ou en technologie est préférable.
De 2 à 4 ans d’expérience en vente de technologies et/ou de services.

COMPÉTENCES

Solides compétences en communication orale et écrite – le bilinguisme français/anglais est obligatoire.
Esprit d’équipe indispensable.
Expérience en vente de services ou de produits.
Solides compétences organisationnelles, souci du détail et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités sont requis, ainsi que d’excellentes aptitudes à la résolution de problèmes.
Une expérience de travail avec des gestionnaires d’installations, des entrepreneurs, des ingénieurs ou des utilisateurs finaux d’équipements serait un atout.
Maîtrise de Microsoft Word, Excel et Outlook
