Original job description
Embedded with field operations, this position delivers hands-on driver assessments, in-cab coaching, and practical training (including Motive electronic logbook use) so that drivers are confirmed competent before they are dispatched, not after an incident. The coordinator sets consistent standards for driver qualification, refresher training, remedial coaching, and return to driving across the company and its affiliates. Working alongside Fleet Compliance, which manages hours of service monitoring, driver qualification files, and abstract reviews, the coordinator provides field compliance checks, coaches drivers referred through those reviews, and keeps accurate, auditable records of every assessment, training session, and corrective action.
