The project is distinguished by its proximity to an active nuclear site, requiring rigorous standards of safety, planning and coordination.

- Led environmental risk assessments during design and construction phases, identifying impacts and implementing mitigation measures to minimize environmental footprint;
- Oversaw environmental monitoring programs (noise, vibration, dust, emissions, water quality) and ensured compliance with project requirements and regulatory thresholds;
- Conducted site inspections, audits, training sessions, and awareness programs to promote environmental best practices and compliance across the project;
- Managed environmental non-conformities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring effective resolution and communication of lessons learned;
- Acted as the primary environmental point of contact on site, supporting project management with environmental reporting, reviews, presentations, and stakeholder engagement;
- Contributed to QHSE performance through participation in audits, management reviews, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional coordination.
Your skills:
- A bachelor’s degree with specialization in planning, environmental planning, environmental assessment, geography or another related discipline
- At least 6 years of experience in an environmental role
- Experience with the implementation of environmental management systems
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and QHSE regulations applicable to large construction projects
- Experience in tunneling or underground works is an asset
- Experience working on projects with high-risk environments (nuclear, offshore, or similar) is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
What do we have to provide:
- Gross annual salary between 85K and 115K depending on experience and profile
- 4 vacation weeks;
- Annual bonuses;
- Group Health Insurance (premium participation including virtual health care system);
- Wellness spending account;
- Career development opportunities;
- A cosmopolite and inclusive work environment;
- Attractive and challenging project.
