OpenText InfoArchive Solution Architect

Location: PCS CA~TORONTO

Years of Experience: 8-12+ years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced OpenText InfoArchive Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of information archiving and application decommissioning solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in OpenText InfoArchive, data migration, and archival strategies, with a proven track record of leading complex projects in enterprise architecture and information management.

Responsibilities

Design and implement OpenText InfoArchive solutions, focusing on application decommissioning and data archival.
Develop and optimize archive application modeling, ingestion, and retrieval patterns.
Lead architectural decisions across business, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with security, retention, auditability, and records-management requirements.
Design search and retrieval capabilities for archived data.

Mandatory Skills

Strong expertise in OpenText InfoArchive and application-decommissioning solutions.
Hands-on knowledge of archive application modeling, ingestion, and retrieval patterns.
Proficiency with Oracle or comparable enterprise relational databases, SQL, and legacy data structures.
Expertise in data migration, reconciliation, and source-to-target validation.
Demonstrated ability to lead architectural decisions across business, infrastructure, and engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience with OpenText AppBuilder or comparable archive application configuration.
Familiarity with REST APIs, XML/XSD, JSON, and metadata-driven integration.
Background in application retirement or legacy modernization programs.
Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated configuration promotion.
High-volume database migration and archival program experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8-12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, information management, data migration, or application modernization.
3+ years of experience specifically with OpenText InfoArchive.
