Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. This position requires a deep understanding of QA automation processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create effective test strategies.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices in automation testing.

Mandatory Skills

Proven experience in QA Automation Testing.
Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

Preferred Skills

Experience with performance testing and security testing.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
Understanding of cloud-based testing environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
