UAT Data Load Support ETL QA - Senior Lead Software Engineer

Location: PCS CA~TORONTO

Years of Experience: 7-10 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Software Engineer specializing in Backend/API development to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data load support and a strong background in Spring Boot. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead projects, mentor junior team members, and ensure the quality and efficiency of data integration processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Spring Boot.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define UAT scenarios.
Oversee the ETL process, ensuring data integrity and quality during data loads.
Lead UAT efforts, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing workflows.
Document technical specifications and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Mandatory Skills

Proven experience with Spring Boot framework.
Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
Experience in backend development and API design.
Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of relevant experience in software development and data management.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
