Gen AI Developer
Location: PCS CA, Toronto
Years of Experience: 8+ years
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Gen AI Developer with extensive experience in application development and a strong background in leading cross-functional programs within regulated enterprises. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM solutions, as well as a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and developer tooling.
Responsibilities
- Automate 64 SDLC use cases by implementing prompt automation and utilizing a knowledge repository.
- Integrate cloud services by implementing and managing AI models alongside traditional backend resources across AWS environments.
- Develop robust APIs by constructing scalable REST APIs and managing complex JSON payloads for seamless frontend-to-backend communication.
- 10+ years of application development experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional programs in a banking or regulated enterprise.
- 2+ years of experience working with Generative AI or LLM solutions in production, including prompt engineering, RAG, guardrails, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in SDLC and developer tools such as Git, GitHub, CI/CD, IntelliJ or VS Code, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience defining KPI frameworks and working with Power BI (DAX, data models, row-level security) or a comparable BI platform.
- Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to create steering decks, value narratives, and status reports for senior stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of enterprise governance, including architecture review, change management, Responsible AI, and data privacy.
- Experience with Kore.ai.
- Experience with AWS application development.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
