5+ years of hands-on Java development experience, with deep expertise in core Java, object-oriented design, advanced data structures, multithreading, and concurrency (including troubleshooting).
Proven proficiency with Java Collections Framework for efficient data handling.
Strong expertise in messaging and event platforms (Solace, Kafka, AMPS) and event-driven architecture design.
Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservice architecture, ideally in a cloud environment.
Strong Capital Markets knowledge, particularly within Equities, with a track record of building/supporting high-availability financial systems.
Experience navigating and contributing to complex, distributed systems, understanding concepts like fault tolerance and scalability.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Git, automated testing).
