Original job description

Canadian Immigration Specialist / RCIC (2–5 Years Hands-On Experience)

Location: On-site | Brampton, Ontario

Employment type: Full-time

Company: Visa Master Canada (VMC)

About Us

Visa Master Canada, operated under Gamma Immigration Services Canada Inc., is a tech-enabled immigration firm serving clients across Canada (excluding Quebec). We pair licensed immigration expertise with modern CRM, case management and automation tools, so our team spends less time on admin and more time on well-prepared applications and client service. We are a growing firm, and we are expanding our team with a hands-on immigration specialist (RCIC preferred) who is ready to own files, review work to a high standard, and help guide our case processing team.

About the Role

This is a working role, not a desk-review role. You will personally prepare and file applications, review files prepared by our case workers before they go to IRCC, and be the person the team turns to for file-level decisions. We want someone with 2–5 years of hands-on experience who has already filed in volume and is ready to take on more responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • File submissions: Prepare, finalize and submit applications to IRCC and provincial programs, including Express Entry, PNPs, spousal sponsorship, study permits, work permits (SOWP, PGWP, LMIA-based and LMIA-exempt), TRVs, Super Visas and business visas.
  • File review and quality control: Review applications prepared by case workers and junior staff before submission, checking forms, supporting documents, eligibility and consistency to catch errors and refusal risks.
  • Case worker guidance: Assign and oversee work, answer file questions, give clear feedback, and help case workers improve the quality and speed of their files.
  • Eligibility and strategy: Assess client eligibility and identify the right program or stream, working with our licensed RCICs on advice to clients.
  • Client and IRCC communication: Prepare responses to procedural fairness letters, additional document requests and refusals. Representation of clients before IRCC is handled by licensed RCICs on our team (or by you, if licensed).
  • Compliance: Ensure every submission complies with IRPA, IRPR and the CICC Code of Professional Conduct, with accurate retainers, documentation and file records.
  • Case tracking: Keep files, deadlines and status updates current in our CRM so nothing is missed.

Required Qualifications

  • RCIC licence in good standing with the CICC is an asset, not required; unlicensed candidates will work under RCIC supervision
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience preparing and filing Canadian immigration applications
  • Experience reviewing others' files or mentoring case workers is a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of Express Entry, PNPs, family class and temporary residence programs; LMIA experience is an asset
  • Strong research, legal writing and analytical skills
  • Comfortable with IRCC portals, CRMs, case management systems and secure communication tools
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage a high-volume caseload
  • Able to work full-time from our Brampton office

Why Join Visa Master Canada?

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses
  • Stable full-time employment with long-term growth potential
  • Collaborative, tech-enabled work environment
  • Access to industry tools and streamlined internal systems
  • Supportive team and ongoing professional development
