Original job description

Vision Talent is supporting a leading Canadian bank, they are seeking a Change Manager to support the adoption of an AI rollout. This is an initial 12 month contract term and a hybrid role with 2 days/week required on site in downtown Toronto.

The Change Manager will lead the people and process side of AI adoption across Technology and Operations teams. This role owns the change strategy for rolling out AI tools and workflows into the SDLC, working across engineering, QA, product and ops functions to drive adoption, manage resistance, and make the change stick.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience rolling out AI tools into the SDLC (not just general change management), substantial experience leading AI adoption programs at scale, and deep, practical understanding of the job archetypes across technology and operations teams (developers, QA, DevOps, platform, support) so the change plan actually fits how those teams work day to day.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the change management strategy for AI tooling rollout across SDLC and technology/ops functions.
  • Design and execute stakeholder engagement, communications, and training plans tailored to specific technical job archetypes.
  • Identify and manage resistance points, working closely with engineering leadership and team leads.
  • Define adoption metrics and track them through the rollout.
  • Partner with technology, product, and operations leadership to sequence the rollout and adjust based on feedback.

Required Skills

  • Proven change management experience specifically tied to AI or emerging technology rollouts, not general org change work.
  • Direct experience working within or alongside SDLC processes.
  • Strong understanding of how different technology and ops roles actually function, so change plans are grounded in reality rather than generic frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non technical audiences.

Preferred Profile

Background in financial services or another large regulated enterprise. Certification in change management methodology (Prosci or similar) a plus, but real AI rollout experience carries more weight than the certification itself.
