About the role
We are looking for a developer who wants meaningful product experience, real ownership, and the opportunity to help shape an early stage company.
You will work closely with the founder to improve Vital’s existing platform. Your role will be to turn client feedback into practical improvements, strengthen the user experience, and help guide the platform’s technical development.
This role could be a strong fit for someone building their technical career who wants flexible, hands on work with a live product.
What you will do
- Turn client and user feedback into product improvements
- Refine employee and employer workflows
- Improve usability, reliability, and platform performance
- Build and maintain dashboards, integrations, and internal systems
- Identify what should be maintained, improved, or rebuilt as Vital grows
- Contribute to testing, documentation, data privacy, and technical planning
Who we are looking for
- You have experience building or contributing to web applications
- You understand front end development, back end systems, databases, and APIs
- You can learn an existing product and improve it thoughtfully
- You are resourceful, curious, and comfortable solving problems independently
- You communicate clearly and take ownership of your work
- You care about building technology that has a meaningful impact on people
Experience can come from employment, independent projects, internships, portfolio work, or personal development. A formal computer science degree is not required.
Experience with AI integrations, analytics dashboards, B2B SaaS, low code platforms, or data privacy would be an asset.
