The role is accountable for new bookings targets and for a smooth handover of won accounts to the client relationship team.

Job Description:

· Develop account plans and tailored value propositions for priority prospects

Pipeline and Forecasting

· Keep the CRM current with accurate opportunity, stage and forecast data

· Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly forecasts to the CEO

Market and Go-to-Market

· Work with marketing on campaigns, lead generation, messaging and trade show presence

· Gather market and competitive intelligence and share insights with product management to inform the roadmap

· Identify new segments, channels and partnership opportunities for growth

Collaboration and Account Handover

· Partner with the Director of Business Development, following agreed rules of engagement on account ownership, to avoid overlap with existing clients

· Hand won accounts to the client relationship team through the agreed handover process, ensuring continuity for the customer

· Work with professional services and product teams to scope solutions and set realistic implementation expectations

· Work with Finance on pricing, contract terms and deal approvals

SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS

General

· Proven B2B software/SaaS sales experience with a consistent record of winning new customers against quota

· Experience selling into the automotive industry strongly preferred

· Track record of building pipeline from scratch and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals

· Strong presentation, negotiation and written communication skills; comfortable engaging senior decision makers

· Self-directed and effective working independently in a small, growing business

Key Skills and Competencies

Leads with the highest level of integrity

Hunter mindset: persistent, resilient and motivated by winning new business

Disciplined prospecting and qualification

Consultative, value-based selling

Accurate CRM use and forecasting

Collaborative team player who respects account ownership boundaries

Ability to perform under pressure and consistently meet targets

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

· 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on new business

· Proficiency with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
