Original job description

Li-Cube System Manufacturing | Volts Energies | Laval

Permanent, full-time position | Daytime schedule

Do you want to learn a hands-on trade, work with your hands, and be part of a company that has been developing renewable energy solutions since 2003?

Volts Energies is looking for a motivated person to join our production team as a Junior Assembler. This position is ideal for someone who wants to learn, grow, and build a career with us in a fast-growing technical field.

We provide in-house training. What matters most to us is your reliability, attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

What You Will Learn With Us

Working with our team, you will be trained step by step to learn how to:

Assemble our Li-Cube units, autonomous energy systems integrating solar, batteries, inverters, generators, and controls.
Perform basic mechanical assembly.
Install supports, rails, structures, and components.
Participate in electrical panel assembly under supervision.
Use the right tools and proper work methods.
Gradually read and understand plans, technical drawings, and assembly diagrams.
Perform simple checks to ensure clean, solid, and well-executed work.
Work safely in a shop environment.

The Type of Person We Are Looking For

You Could Be a Good Fit If You Are

Hands-on and comfortable using tools.
Motivated to learn a technical trade.
Reliable, punctual, and serious about your work.
Curious, resourceful, and willing to ask questions.
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Proud of doing clean and well-executed work.
Interested in electricity, mechanics, solar, batteries, or technology.

Experience in a workshop, construction, mechanics, installation, production, or assembly is an asset, but not required. Reading plans is also an asset, but we can train you.

What We Offer

A permanent, full-time position.
Competitive salary based on your experience and potential.
A daytime schedule.
Finish at 2:30 p.m. on Fridays.
Complete in-house training.
Experienced people to train, guide, and support you.
Tailored training to help you perform well.
A dynamic, motivated, and accessible team.
Different and stimulating projects that allow you to challenge yourself.
The Tedy program: 2% of your salary deposited into a personal spending account.
All tools required for the job are provided.
On-site charging stations to charge your car free of charge.
Present and accessible company leadership that truly cares about the well-being of the people who work here.
The opportunity to grow into more technical roles over time.

Why Join Volts Energies?

Since 2003, Volts Energies has been developing and assembling renewable, hybrid, and autonomous energy solutions for the residential, commercial, industrial, and off-grid sectors.

Our Li-Cube units are used on construction sites, remote sites, security projects, telecommunications, events, and special applications. By joining us, you will help build real products that are used directly in the field.
