Summary
The Oakville Strokers provides an aquatic therapeutic program for stroke survivors, and a socialization program as well. We meet each Friday at the Glen Abbey Community Centre in Oakville, Ontario. We have about 30 stroker survivors in the program.

About This Opportunity
Each participant is matched up with a volunteer, to accompany them in the warm-water pool. In the pool. participants do light exercise, work on balance, and/or work toward learning (or relearning) to swim. The pool time is one hour, each Friday. If you have a little more time available, you can arrive early for a social time, or stay afterward and play cards or board games, or just chat.
