About This Opportunity
Volunteer Position: Teaching Assistant (Richmond Hill Campus)
Duration: September 2026 to June 2027
No. of Hours: 2-4 hrs/Week
Available Shifts: 8:50am -11:00am and/or 11:10am – 1:20pm (Saturdays)
Location: H.G. Bernard Public School (245 Bernard Avenue, Richmond Hill)
Duties
- Supervise and encourage participation in group activities
- Assist teachers to carry out lessons
- Meal & snack assistance
- Camp setup & cleanup
- Communicate with and assist staff
- Assist in roll call and dismissal
Requirement
- Open to adults and students in Grade 9 or above
- Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
- Able to follow instructions
- Patient, enjoys working with kids
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
