About This Opportunity
Our Grief and Bereavement program uses a peer-support model, which requires that volunteers supporting this program must have experienced a significant loss. Grief and Bereavement volunteers can provide supports to individuals both one-on-one or in a group setting. Specialized training for this role includes a 2-hr session running once a week, over the span of 5 weeks. Volunteers are also required to complete 13 modules of online, accredited Hospice Palliative Care Ontario (HPCO) training.
