About This Opportunity
This volunteer fosters healthy connection, empowerment, and belonging by accompanying survivors in daily activities, life skills development, and community engagement. The role centres on being a consistent, compassionate presence rather than providing formal counselling or case management.
You would be a person who loves to just hang out, plan game nights or other fun activities to do in the evening or on weekends at the SEEDS house or offsite (with appropriate permissions.) This time is meant to be informal and conversational, rather than an instructional session.
By volunteering in this role, you will help create a safe, trusting community where survivors can heal, regain confidence, and pursue their goals - one shared meal, conversation, and day of life together at a time.
