About This Opportunity
Reading Mentors support newcomer children and parents with their reading and English conversation skills.
The time commitment is a weekly commitment of 2 hours one evening a week (Tuesday or Wednesday, 5-7pm) for a 7 week a session (OCT-NOV)
You will be paired up with a newcomer family to support them with their reading and participation in the program. We focus on child participation and learning through play.

- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Over “age of majority” in province of opportunity
- Provide 2 references
