About This Opportunity
As a Recreation Volunteer, you’ll:
- Lead or assist with games, arts & crafts, music sessions, and sing-alongs
- Organize and promote recreational activities such as storytelling, gardening, dance, drama, and seasonal celebrations
- Encourage participation and social interaction among residents
- Support staff in creating a vibrant, inclusive environment
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity spaces and materials
- Provide 1-on-1 or small group support for residents with special needs
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and cheerful atmosphere
- Offer feedback and suggestions to improve the recreation program
