About This Opportunity
Our handler teams provide unconditional love and support from the therapy dog in a way that minimizes stress and promotes stronger health and quicker recoveries. Our members complete weekly visits in Long Term Care facilities, retirement homes, hospitals, universities, businesses, etc. Handlers can test with their own family dogs for suitability and if successful can start visits.
- We currently have 4 Therapy Dog units connected with the Halton, Hamilton & Haldimand Branch:
- Burlington, Hamilton, Milton/Halton Hills, Oakville.
