About The Role
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you'll use your training to provide person-centred care, support daily living, and help clients stay comfortable and independent in their own homes. You'll travel between clients' homes throughout the day, making every visit matter. Bring your skills to where they're needed most!

Working conditions and physical demands: This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics. Individuals in the role are required to walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day, with some tasks requiring fine hand movements.

- Perform other duties as assigned
- Personal Support Worker or Developmental Services Worker certification
- Nursing students who have completed first year of RPN or BScN or internationally educated nurses are eligible to apply
- Must have a current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate, if applicable to the work being performed
- Must enjoy driving, have a personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
- A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support to clients in their homes, including personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and respite for families. Help develop care plans, maintain a safe home environment, and collaborate with healthcare teams while traveling between clients’ homes.
Requirements
Applicants must have a Personal Support Worker or Developmental Services Worker certification; eligible alternatives include nursing students who have completed their first year of RPN or BScN studies and internationally educated nurses. A current Standard First Aid or CPR Level C certificate, a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and a satisfactory criminal records check are required as applicable; candidates must also be able to wear PPE.
