Job Overview:
Voyzant Inc. is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to support the development of high-quality visual content across our portfolio of brands. Working closely with the Creative Manager and marketing team, the successful candidate will create engaging, professional, and brand-consistent materials for digital and print marketing, corporate communications, and promotional campaigns.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in graphic design principles, excellent typography and layout skills, and proficiency in industry-standard design software. We are looking for someone who can translate creative briefs into polished visual assets, manage multiple projects efficiently, and maintain exceptional attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to contribute fresh ideas, develop professional skills, and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced marketing environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create high-quality digital and print marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, banners, social media graphics and corporate communictions.
- Design professional PowerPoint presentations aligned with corporate and brand standards.
- Support multiple companies within the Voyzant Group while maintaining brand consistency.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Manager to execute creative concepts and campaigns.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Prepare final artwork for both digital distribution and print production.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned in support of the company's strategic and commercial objectives.
- Develop visual assets for email marketing campaigns, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Interpret creative briefs, incorporate feedback, and deliver accurate, high-quality designs within established timelines.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio.
- Strong understanding of North American design and branding standards.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe After Effects
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong editorial design skills, including the ability to design visually compelling layouts for presentations, brochures, reports, flyers, and other marketing and corporate materials.
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Assets / Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in French, both written and verbal, is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with WordPress, including basic website content updates and management, is an asset.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, and creating short promotional videos for digital marketing and social media is a strong asset.
