Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives that promote the organization's brand, services, and business objectives. This role develops and manages marketing content, coordinates campaigns, supports digital marketing efforts, and works closely with an external marketing agency to ensure the company's website, branding, and marketing materials remain current and effective. The ideal candidate is a proactive, creative, and organized professional who can manage multiple projects while collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications

Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that support organizational goals.
Create, coordinate, and manage marketing content for digital, print, social media, email, and other communication channels.
Draft news articles, blog posts, case studies, newsletters, promotional materials, and corporate communications.
Ensure all marketing materials align with company branding standards and messaging.
Coordinate internal communications and support company-wide marketing initiatives.

Website & Digital Presence

Serve as the primary internal owner of website content and digital marketing initiatives.
Create, review, and maintain website content to ensure information is accurate, relevant, and up to date.
Work with the external marketing agency to implement website updates, enhancements, landing pages, and new content.
Monitor website performance and user engagement, providing recommendations for ongoing improvements.
Assist with SEO initiatives and digital marketing efforts to improve online visibility and lead generation.

Marketing Agency Coordination

Act as the primary liaison with the external marketing agency.
Coordinate marketing projects and communicate priorities, content requirements, and project timelines.
Review agency deliverables, including website updates, creative assets, and campaign materials.
Participate in regular planning and performance review meetings with the agency.
Collaborate with the agency on content development, advertising initiatives, and marketing campaigns.

Social Media & Content Management

Develop and maintain a content calendar for social media and marketing communications.
Create and schedule social media content that supports brand awareness and business development objectives.
Monitor social media engagement and identify opportunities to increase audience reach and interaction.
Coordinate photography, video, testimonials, and other content assets for marketing purposes.

Campaigns & Events

Coordinate marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Support planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, webinars, community events, and corporate functions.
Assist with campaign tracking, lead generation activities, and post-campaign reporting.
Coordinate promotional materials, signage, presentations, and branded collateral.

Reporting & Administration

Track and report on marketing campaign performance, website analytics, social media engagement, and other key metrics.
Maintain marketing calendars, project schedules, and marketing asset libraries.
Assist with managing marketing budgets, vendor relationships, and agency invoices.
Support other marketing and business development initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in a marketing, communications, business development, or marketing coordinator role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to internal and external stakeholders.
Strong content writing, editing, and proofreading skills across digital and print marketing channels.
Experience managing social media platforms, digital marketing campaigns, and online engagement initiatives.
Familiarity with website content management systems and coordinating with external marketing agencies or vendors.
Experience supporting sales initiatives, including lead nurturing, sales outreach activities, and collaboration with sales teams to advance opportunities through the pipeline.
Proven ability to coordinate and support events, including trade shows, webinars, customer engagement activities, and corporate events.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Experience with CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is considered an asset.
Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, B2B sales processes, and customer engagement strategies.
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience within the security, technology, managed services, or B2B services industry is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
