Senior Azure DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer
Location: Montréal, QC or Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Languages: Bilingual (French and English)
About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced Azure DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineers to join an enterprise-scale environment. In this role, you will work directly alongside core internal teams and senior engineering consultants to build, industrialize, and secure cloud platform infrastructure.
You will play a key role in platform administration, automated infrastructure deployment via Terraform, CI/CD pipeline management in GitHub, and securing modern enterprise architectures (including exposure to emerging AI/LLM deployment gateways).
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Industrialization: Lead Azure platform administration, governance, and environment standardization.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, deploy, and maintain modular infrastructure using Terraform.
- CI/CD & Automation: Build, optimize, and maintain robust GitHub Actions / GitHub Enterprise workflows and deployment pipelines.
- Workspace & Environment Integration: Provision and manage workspace environments for engineering and data teams.
- Cloud Security & Networking: Implement cloud networking patterns, access management (IAM/RBAC), security policies, and landing zone best practices.
- Modern Platform Tech: Collaborate on modern architectures including Azure AI infrastructure (e.g., Foundry, LLM Gateway integration). (Note: Deep AI expertise is a plus, but core platform/DevOps excellence is the primary focus).
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud architecture.
- IaC Mastery: Advanced proficiency with Terraform for complex, production-grade cloud provisioning.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with GitHub for code management, workflow automation, and release engineering.
- Networking & Security: Strong grasp of Azure virtual networking, DNS, firewalls, role-based access control (RBAC), and enterprise security standards.
- Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in French is highly preferred; fluent English speakers with strong collaborative capabilities will also be considered.
- Location: Must be based in Canada (Montréal or Toronto areas preferred) to align with client time zones.
