Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Software (ML) Engineer to develop intelligent, high-performance software solutions that transform modern manufacturing operations. This exciting opportunity combines advanced software engineering, machine learning, and industrial automation to improve production efficiency, equipment reliability, and operational performance. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate directly with manufacturing teams, and deliver scalable, mission-critical applications in a dynamic Agile environment. This role is primarily on-site, with active collaboration on the production floor, offering a unique opportunity to work hands-on with industrial systems and directly with end users.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and implement robust software applications that enhance manufacturing processes.
• Design, train, optimize, and deploy supervised and unsupervised machine learning models to support predictive analytics and intelligent industrial solutions.
• Build and integrate scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, web applications, and database-driven systems.
• Engineer reliable, high-performance applications incorporating asynchronous processing, multithreading, distributed communication, and modern architectural patterns.
• Collaborate directly with production personnel and business stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum activities, including solution planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize production-critical systems.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with at least two of the following: .NET RESTful APIs, Angular SPA, Docker, or relational databases.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
• Hands-on experience across multithreaded programming, asynchronous processing, socket communication, software architecture, system design, and computer networking.
• Practical experience with Linux environments, containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), caching solutions (Redis/Memcached), and message-oriented architectures.
• Familiarity with industrial or enterprise technologies such as PLC, OPC, Modbus, RFID, embedded systems, signal/image processing, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD tools is considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline.
