We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Functional Nutrition & Clinical Education Specialist to oin our healthcare team in Kanata, ON. The ideal candidate possesses a strong professional background in functional nutrition, naturopathy, or Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA). In this multi-faceted role, you will bridge the gap between clinical excellence and brand engagement. You will oversee practitioner communications, triage complex inquiries, manage adverse reaction workflows, and author clear educational resources. Beyond clinical oversight, you will act as a dynamic public face for our brand - leveraging social media platforms and public speaking opportunities to teach complex procedural methods and protocol applications in an engaging, accessible format.

Core Responsibilities

  • Clinical Oversight & Protocol Alignment: Oversee complex practitioner communications and product/supplement recommendations. Ensure complete accuracy, safety, and unwavering quality aligned perfectly with established healthcare protocols, HTMA frameworks, and functional nutrition standards.
  • Staff &Contractor Education: Lead comprehensive product and protocol education initiatives for internal staff and external contractors. Maintain a consistent, deep understanding of specific formulations, biochemical usage, and application best practices across the entire team.
  • Reaction Triage & Quality Assurance: Act as the primary point of triage for practitioner or client reactions. Ensure rigorous documentation, clear clinical escalation, and timely resolution through strict, defined workflows while maintaining compliance with healthcare tracking requirements.
  • Escalation & Inbound Support: Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex practitioner inquiries, providing sophisticated clinical support, answering advanced formulation questions, and ensuring appropriate next steps are executed seamlessly.
  • Resource Development & Tech Collaboration: Identify recurring practitioner misunderstandings, clinical FAQs, or information gaps. Collaborate directly with the Technology and Creative teams to conceptualize and develop clear, effective digital resources, job aids, and communications.
  • Content Creation & Technical Writing: Generate, refine, and update educational and support materials. This includes drafting precise practitioner alerts, training manuals, scientific presentations, and step-by-step procedural guides.
  • Quality Auditing & Clinical Integrity: Regularly audit team communications, consultations, and forum responses. Provide actionable, constructive feedback to staff to guarantee exceptional quality, message consistency, and medical/clinical integrity.
  • Public Speaking & Social Media Presence: Build and maintain an active, authoritative social media presence representing the brand. Confidently speak in front of large crowds, teaching advanced procedural methods in an easy-to-understand, engaging fashion to inspire and educate both clients and peers.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • Required educational certification in Functional Nutrition, Naturopathy, Holistic Nutrition, or a closely related healthcare discipline.
  • Strong public speaking capabilities with a natural ability to captivate an audience, teach complex mechanisms effortlessly, and present comfortably on video/social media platforms.
  • Exceptional self-starter attitude with the autonomy to manage workflows, participate in cross-functional projects with Tech/Creative teams, and proactively solve clinical gaps.
  • Meticulous attention to detail regarding tracking data, clinical incident documentation, and quality assurance auditing.
  • Demonstrated expertise and hands-on practical experience interpreting Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and designing accompanying protocols is not required but would be an asset.
