The candidate will work closely with Epic application teams, reporting and analytics teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the Caboodle environment supporting healthcare analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain the Epic Caboodle data warehouse environment.
- Support Caboodle system administration activities, including environment maintenance, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor ETL processes, data loads, refresh schedules, and data warehouse performance.
- Investigate and resolve data load failures, processing errors, system issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support Caboodle upgrades, patches, maintenance activities, and environment changes.
- Coordinate with Epic Clarity, Cogito, reporting, analytics, and database teams to resolve data warehouse issues.
- Support data warehouse availability, capacity planning, backup and recovery coordination, and disaster recovery procedures as applicable to the environment.
- Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, incident records, and technical runbooks.
- Participate in incident management, problem management, change management, and release management activities.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure reliable data availability for healthcare reporting and analytics.
- Follow organizational security, access management, data governance, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Relevant experience in healthcare IT, data warehouse administration, or enterprise database support.
- Hands-on experience with Epic Caboodle administration or operational support.
- Understanding of Epic's data warehousing and analytics architecture.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, SQL querying, database monitoring, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience monitoring data loads, investigating failures, and resolving production issues.
- Familiarity with Windows Server environments and enterprise application support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Epic Caboodle certification - MUST
- Experience with Epic Clarity, Cogito, and Epic reporting and analytics environments.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), ETL processes, and data warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of healthcare data models and reporting workflows.
- Experience supporting high-availability, disaster recovery, and production environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Experience working with hospital systems or healthcare organizations.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
