Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced EPIC Willow Outpatient Analyst to support, configure, implement, and maintain Epic's Willow Ambulatory/Outpatient pharmacy application. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in outpatient pharmacy workflows, medication management, application configuration, troubleshooting, and production support within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced EPIC Willow Outpatient Analyst to support, configure, implement, and maintain Epic's Willow Ambulatory/Outpatient pharmacy application. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in outpatient pharmacy workflows, medication management, application configuration, troubleshooting, and production support within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application support, maintenance, and enhancements for Epic Willow Outpatient.
- Configure and maintain outpatient pharmacy workflows, including medication dispensing and prescription management.
- Support medication ordering, formulary management, medication build, and pharmacy-related integrations.
- Work with clinical, pharmacy, and IT teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions.
- Support Epic upgrades, system enhancements, testing, and implementations.
- Participate in system testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Develop and maintain application documentation and workflow specifications.
- Provide production support and resolve incidents through appropriate ticketing systems.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, pharmacy regulations, and organizational policies.
- Active Epic Willow Outpatient certification is mandatory.
- 5+ years of experience working with Epic applications in a healthcare environment.
- Strong experience in outpatient pharmacy workflows and medication management.
- Hands-on experience with Epic Willow configuration, build, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with medication orders, formulary management, prescription processing, and pharmacy operations.
- Knowledge of Epic integration with other clinical applications.
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, and production environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with Epic Ambulatory and other pharmacy-related modules.
- Knowledge of HL7 interfaces and healthcare integration workflows.
- Experience in hospital or healthcare pharmacy environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
