Fleet Business Development Representative

Richmond, BC | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Office-Based + Field Sales

Build relationships. Grow new business. Help commercial fleets reduce maintenance costs.

Wagonmaster Group is growing our Fleet division and is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to develop new business throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

This is an outside B2B sales role based from our Richmond office. You'll spend your time meeting with fleet operators, maintenance managers, and commercial customers, helping them improve vehicle reliability and maintenance performance with industry-leading diesel maintenance solutions.

If you enjoy prospecting, building relationships, and developing new business - and have experience working with commercial vehicles, fleets, automotive, transportation, or industrial customers - we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Develop new business within the commercial fleet market.
  • Prospect and build relationships with fleet operators, maintenance managers, and business owners.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend maintenance solutions.
  • Grow existing accounts while continually developing new opportunities.
  • Plan and manage your sales territory effectively.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of outside B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Proven ability to prospect and generate new business.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Highly Preferred:

  • Experience selling to commercial, industrial, transportation, automotive, or fleet customers.
  • Exposure to commercial vehicles, diesel engines, fleet maintenance, heavy-duty equipment, automotive aftermarket products, or related industries.
  • An interest in trucks, diesel engines, automotive, or commercial vehicles.

You do not need to be a licensed mechanic or diesel technician. We're looking for someone who understands the industry, is comfortable discussing fleet maintenance concepts, and is eager to learn our products through comprehensive training.

Why Join Wagonmaster Group?

  • Established and respected company with a strong reputation.
  • Comprehensive product and sales training.
  • Opportunity to build and grow an expanding Fleet division.
  • Supportive team environment.
  • Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Competitive compensation including base salary, commission, vehicle allowance, CRA mileage reimbursement, benefits, and paid vacation.
