The Opportunity

We are looking for a full-time Document Controller based out of our Tundra Calgary or Edmonton Office. This position will be responsible for Records Management in relation to sales / projects. Primary areas of records management include but are not limited to; Engineering Documents, issuance of client documents, vendor data coordination, documentation of all changes, turnover and archiving of project records. The successful candidate is very detail oriented by nature and has an open, honest approach to communication in a fast paced and time sensitive environment. They will lead by example and put customer service first and drive the Tundra WOW experience every day.

The Role

Receipt, registration, distribution, tracking, reporting and maintenance of records.
Process and control engineering documents, drawings and deliverables in accordance with established guidelines and client specific procedures.
Expedite the review and approval of engineering deliverables and vendor documentation.
Plan supervise and record document flow to and from all appropriate parties.
Maintain an awareness of document handling techniques and be responsible for adherence to the document control procedures.
Monitoring all drawings and documentation requirements as outlined by pre-set schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
Tracking all changes to the original scope of the sale/project.
Provide routine quality checks on all outgoing documentation in accordance with established project and client guidelines.
Effective and timely archiving of project records.
Support Tundra’s culture and core values.

The Candidate

2 years of experience in experience in electronic and manual document control management
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
Detail oriented, highly organized and motivated to succeed
Experience and understanding of the principles, best practices and workflow of project records management.
Technical experience and understanding of the life cycle of a project.
Thorough knowledge of project documentation and engineering terminology.
Ability to create procedures governing document control in a project environment creating procedures and systems that positively affect the success of the project.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Legally eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities
