Your role:

Warner Music Canada is seeking a passionate, strategic, and agile Marketing Manager to lead high-impact marketing campaigns for our roster of diverse artists, with an emphasis on the country genre.

In this role, you will serve as the strategic lead for assigned artists, translating creative vision into data-informed, multi-channel marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with artists, management teams, digital strategists, commercial partners, and internal departments to drive engagement, expand fanbases, and maximize commercial success.

Here you’ll get to:

Develop, and execute marketing strategies for single releases, album campaigns, and project rollouts.
Act as the primary marketing liaison for artists, their management teams, and WMG label partners, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on project goals.
Work with teams to plan digital marketing campaigns, content & community-building efforts, media/press and creator collaborations.
Manage allocated marketing budgets for assigned projects, ensuring cost-effective execution, and ROI tracking

Analyze streaming data (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon), social media analytics, and audience insights to continuously refine and optimize campaigns.
Partner with commercial/DSP teams to build compelling pitch narratives for editorial playlists, partner placements, and co-marketing opportunities.

Oversee the development of marketing assets (creative assets, digital ads, out-of-home advertising, and promotional tools) to ensure brand consistency.
Maintaining open, transparent communication with artists, management, and internal teams, especially during high-pressure launch cycles or project pivots.

About you:

3–5+ years of progressive experience in music marketing, record label product management, digital agency work, or entertainment marketing.
Understanding of the Canadian music landscape, current digital/social media trends, streaming platform algorithms, and fanbase dynamics.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with high emotional intelligence, adaptability, and tact when working with artists and executive stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple fast-moving campaigns under tight deadlines.
Experience leveraging data platforms (Chartmetric, Spotify for Artists, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics) to inform creative marketing strategy.
Ability to navigating dynamic label environments with flexibility, clear boundary-setting, and a focus on solutions.
