Work Environment: We offer a hybrid work environment that offers flexibility to our employees in balancing in-office (2 days per week OR 15 hours per week in a Wawanesa office) and remote work. Working Business Language: English. This role requires regular interaction with customers across Canada where the primary business language utilized is English.  As such, the successful candidate must be fully proficient in English.

Salary: At Wawanesa, salary is only one component of a holistic, comprehensive and competitive offering that we provide to our employees. Job Overview

Working with a high degree of autonomy, the Actuarial Intern contributes to and supports the actuarial group using knowledge from relevant course work and the actuarial exam system. They will apply their knowledge to assist others in the pursuit of solving business problems and answering business questions.

Job Responsibilities

Data Collection
- Research, extract, and manipulate complex data from relevant sources
- Identify relationships, problems/issues, and assess data quality

- Perform analysis/reviews as assigned

Qualifications

Education
- Second or third year of study, majoring with the Actuarial pattern of either Commerce or Science degree
Pursuing FCIA designation
