Responsibilities

- Estimate costs of installing equipment
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
- Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
- Prepare sales or other contracts
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
- Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
- Deliver sales presentations
- Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
- Conduct sales transactions

- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

Estimate equipment installation costs and prepare quotes, sales orders, and contracts, while promoting products and services to existing and prospective clients. Assess client needs, deliver sales presentations, support clients after the sale, troubleshoot equipment issues, and manage projects.
Requirements
The position requires a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting one to two years, along with three to less than five years of experience. English is required, and relevant experience includes sales, estimating, drafting, project management, and using Excel and estimating software.
