Logistics Coordinator

Role
The Global Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Supplier Relations & Logistics Manager. Overseas daily international freight logistics while ensuring cross-border shipments strictly comply with import regulations, tariff classifications, and customs entry requirements across major global markets, including CBSA, EU, HMRC, CBP. This position is responsible for managing major big-box retailers, mass merchant logistics requirements ensuring strict adherence to retailer routing guides, vendor compliance standards, EDI order fulfillment, appointment scheduling, and specialized packaging/labeling to eliminate chargebacks and ensure on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Request and review quotes from multiple freight forwarders.
Provide supplier logistics team with ship method and details for accurate details for shipping documents.
Monitor shipments in transit via, air, ocean, truck, courier.
Find solutions for any delayed shipments
Pre-audit commercial invoices, packing lists, and Bills of Lading prior to shipment departure.
Find correct HTS codes for new POP.POS items importing & export to USA & Canada.
Fill out necessary paperwork for customs clearance and provide details to broker.
Resolve any document errors with customs broker.
Provide broker with images, material content for products in transit under review by customs.
Resolve any delivery issues.
Negotiate credit with freight forwarder for shipping errors.
Create claims for lost shipments and follow up with agent to ensure we receive payment.
Work with receiving team to ensure all shipments are received in a timely manner, assist with prioritizing receiving orders and assist in resolving any issues found in the shipment.
Submit and verify export documents for returning shipments.
Notify brokers of post entry errors and request resubmission of documents to customs.
Invoicing and distribution of international shipments

Successful candidates will have

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
CITT and/or CIFFA certifications considered an asset
Minimum 3 Plus years of international freight forwarding experience or working in a logistics import coordinator.
Previous Freight Forwarding Experience is an asset
Current knowledge of international ocean/ air import/Export rules and regulations
Canada, USA, EU, UK Customs experience is an asset
Knowledge of harmonized classification is required
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with analytic approach
Strong knowledge of computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to multitask.
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
Strong attention to detail
Experience in managing third-party logistics providers
Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions
Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong working knowledge of big-box retailer vendor portals, routing guides, delivery scheduling, pallet labeling compliance, and OTIF chargeback prevention.

Coordonnateur Logistique

Rôle
Le coordonnateur logistique relève directement de la directrice des relations fournisseurs. Son rôle est de s'assurer que la logistique, l'expédition, la livraison et le dédouanement répondent aux normes de l'entreprise et respectent les exigences légales des groupes PGA, CBP et CBSA. Ce poste implique la gestion des besoins logistiques des grandes enseignes de distribution et des grandes surfaces, en garantissant le strict respect des guides d'acheminement des distributeurs, des normes de conformité des fournisseurs, du traitement des commandes EDI, de la planification des rendez-vous et des emballages/étiquetages spécifiques afin d'éviter les refacturations et de garantir des livraisons à temps.

Principales responsabilités

Demander et examiner les devis de plusieurs transitaires
Fournir à l'équipe de logistique des fournisseurs les renseignements nécessaires à l'exactitude des documents d'expédition
Faire le suivi des expéditions en transit par voie aérienne, maritime, routière et par messagerie.
Trouver des solutions en cas de retard d'expédition.
Vérifier les factures commerciales, les listes de colisage et les connaissements avant l'expédition.
Trouver les bons codes SH pour les nouveaux articles PLV/POS importés et exportés aux États-Unis et au Canada.
Remplir les documents nécessaires au dédouanement et fournir les renseignements au transitaire.
Résoudre toute erreur de document avec le transitaire.
Fournir au transitaire des images et la composition des produits en transit, en cours de contrôle douanier.
Résoudre tout problème de livraison.
Négocier un crédit avec le transitaire en cas d'erreurs d'expédition.
Créer des réclamations pour les envois perdus et assurer le suivi auprès de l'agent pour garantir le paiement.
Collaborer avec l'équipe de réception pour s'assurer de la réception de tous les envois dans les délais, participer à la priorisation des commandes et contribuer à la résolution des problèmes rencontrés lors de l'expédition.
Soumettre et vérifier les documents d'exportation pour les envois retournés.
Informer les transitaires des erreurs de déclaration en douane et demander la nouvelle soumission des documents. Facturation et distribution des envois internationaux

Les candidats doivent avoir

Baccalauréat ou équivalent fortement souhaité
Certifications CITT et/ou CIFFA considérées comme un atout
Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans le transport international de marchandises ou en coordination logistique import-export
Expérience préalable en transport de marchandises (un atout)
Connaissance du Système harmonisé de désignation et de codification des marchandises (SH) requise
Connaissance à jour des règles et réglementations internationales en matière d’import/export maritime et aérien
Expérience des douanes du Canada, des États-Unis, de l’UE et du Royaume-Uni (un atout)
Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles et de résolution de problèmes, avec une approche analytique
Maîtrise des outils informatiques (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
Capacité de gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément
Capacité de prioriser et d'organiser efficacement son travail
