As Program Manager, Creative Studio, you’ll sit at the operational centre of The Studio - WestJet Group’s in-house creative team working across WestJet, Sunwing, WestJet Vacations and SellOffVacations.
Reporting to the Group Creative Director and working alongside the Studio’s other project managers and creative leaders, you’ll lead a portfolio of integrated creative and marketing work from intake and briefing through development, production, approvals and delivery.
This is a delivery leadership role, not simply a scheduling role. You’ll understand how campaigns are built, care about the quality of the work and balance creative ambition with business needs, timelines and budgets. In a team that operates with the energy and standards of an agency, you’ll bring clarity when work is complex, momentum when it gets stuck and calm when the pace picks up.

Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent creative and marketing initiatives, from intake and briefing through development, production, approvals, launch and closeout.
- While this role does not have direct reports, lead multidisciplinary project teams with clarity and confidence, bringing people together around shared priorities, decisions and outcomes.
- Translate briefs and business requirements into clear scopes, deliverables, workback schedules, milestones, responsibilities and approval paths.
- Partner closely with creative directors, creative leads, writers, designers and other Studio specialists to ensure teams have the clarity, time, resources and feedback needed to produce strong work.
- Serve as a trusted day-to-day partner for Brand, Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, Social, Communications, Commercial and other teams across WestJet Group.
- Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, creative reviews and production checkpoints, ensuring decisions, actions and accountabilities are clearly documented and followed through.
- Establish and manage realistic timelines that account for creative development, stakeholder input, legal and regulatory review, production requirements, trafficking and delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal partners, helping them navigate The Studio’s ways of working while setting clear expectations around scope, roles, timing, feedback and approvals.
- Bring the right people together at the right time, connect work across teams and channels, and ensure stakeholders remain aligned as projects evolve.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of integrated campaign assets across channels that may include broadcast, video, digital, social, CRM, web, out-of-home, print, airport, onboard and internal communications.
- Coordinate asset matrices, technical specifications, versioning, localization and final delivery, ensuring every team and channel receives the right creative in the right format at the right time.
- Work with the Group Creative Director, fellow project managers and creative leadership to support resource planning, prioritize demand, identify capacity pressures and recommend practical solutions.
- Protect agreed scope and timelines, assess the impact of changes and ensure trade-offs are made consciously rather than by default.
- Identify risks, dependencies and blockers early; resolve what you can and escalate clearly when a decision or intervention is required.
- Support campaign and content production, including coordination with external agencies, production companies, photographers, directors, freelancers and other specialist partners when required.
- Manage project budgets and financial administration, including estimates, purchase orders, vendor coordination, invoice tracking and reconciliation, with a strong eye on value and accountability.
- Use Monday.com as the Studio’s central source of truth, building and maintaining project boards, workflows, timelines, dependencies, dashboards and reporting so teams and leaders have a clear view of status, capacity, risks and upcoming demand.
- Help strengthen the Studio’s operating model by identifying recurring challenges, capturing learnings and improving tools, templates and workflows.
- Champion a culture that values excellent creative work, respectful collaboration, clear accountability and continuous improvement.
Experience and qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience delivering creative, advertising, brand or integrated marketing work within an agency, in-house creative studio, production environment or similarly fast-moving marketing organization.
- Demonstrated experience taking complex, multi-channel campaigns from brief through creative development, production and final delivery.
- Strong understanding of creative workflows, campaign development and the requirements of different marketing channels and asset types.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, timelines and budgets simultaneously without losing command of the details.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to lead meetings, guide conversations, clarify decisions and influence without direct authority.
- Strong relationship-management skills and experience working with creative teams, marketers, senior leaders and external partners.
- Sound judgment and the ability to balance creative ambition, business needs, timing, cost and risk.
- Experience working confidently with project-management and collaboration platforms; direct experience with Monday.com is considered a strong asset.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable creative-production workflows - including how assets are developed, versioned and prepared for delivery - is considered an asset. Hands-on design proficiency is not required.
- Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Experience supporting production, vendor management, budget administration or agency relationships is considered an asset.
- Experience working across multiple brands or within a large, matrixed organization is considered an asset.
