Job Requirements
- Troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over.
- Overhaul and install new equipment.
- Perform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work area
- Ensure that PMs are completed in a timely manner and documented accordingly
- Report on work performed and time spent to Maintenance Supervisor
- Generate parts request to ensure adequate inventory
- Generate and complete work orders as assigned
- Perform equipment change-overs and production line set ups.
- Reads blueprints and schematic drawings
- Strong trouble-shooting skills of hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Work with a wide array of precision tools, such as Vernier Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, OD tapes
- Work with other trades’ groups and contractors to complete project assignments
- Operates grinder, saw, lathe and milling machines to make customized parts or repairs.
- Fabricates custom parts, fixtures and guarding by means of arc welding, grinding, oxyacetylene cutting.
- Assembles and installs machinery and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies.
- MS Office, and computer Maintenance management software Computer skills
- Coverage in the Pipe Plant
- All other relevant duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- 433A Millwright certificate is required
- 442A Electrician an asset
- PLC programming experience is an asset
- Prior diagnostic /troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to follow manufacturers specifications and schematics
- Ability to work on weekends
- Ability to work other shifts and overtime

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, overhaul, and install production-line and facility equipment, including completing preventive maintenance, changeovers, and line setups. Document work and time, manage parts requests and work orders, fabricate or machine custom components, and follow company safety policies while coordinating with other trades and contractors.
Requirements
A 433A Millwright certificate is required; a 442A Electrician certificate and PLC programming experience are assets. The role calls for mechanical and technical aptitude, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience, the ability to read specifications and schematics, and availability for weekends, other shifts, and overtime.
