People & Performance Program Specialist (hybrid) at our
Head Office in
Surrey, BC.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $66,000 to $78,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
Westland also offers a competitive annual short-term incentive program that enables employees to share in the rewards of the business and emphasizes the measures that are key to our success.

Why We’ll Love You

- Strong knowledge of provincial employment standards and employment law
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities with outstanding project management skills
- Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
- Proficiency in HR systems and software
Once Here, You'll
- Support HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives while evaluating program effectiveness and suggesting improvements.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
- Analyze HR program data for insights to be shared with leaders.
- Prepare accurate and timely documentation related to HR programs.
- Develop initiatives promoting a positive workplace culture and work-life balance.
- Monitor DEI metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with departments for seamless integration of HR programs.
- Assist in planning and executing HR initiatives across various areas including employee engagement, M&A, total rewards, learning & development, and talent acquisition.
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR program inquiries and processes.
